It is finally here. A class just for the dads. Are you annoyed that your partner takes away the baby the second he cries? Do you feel constantly blamed for things? Do you miss intimacy with your partner? Are you stressing out about finances and providing for the family?
We see you: working hard, taking care of the family and wanting to be your little one’s hero. Fatherhood is fun – but it is also challenging. There are a lot of expectations that come with becoming a dad as well as significant changes in the relationship. Studies show that 1 in 10 dads struggle with postpartum depression and anxiety. And 67% of couples report decreased marital satisfaction after having a baby. This is why we created the “Dads Wine & Whine – A Daddy and Me Support group”
During this 9 week series, you will learn how to be a more confident father and partner. This is your chance to vent, ask questions and connect with fellow dads who get it! Additionally, you get some alone time to bond with your baby and have fun! Led by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will discuss the following topics and get practical tips on how to improve your fatherhood experience:
Fatherhood adjustment, New Identity, Marriage, Conflict resolution, communication skills, positive parenting, CPR and infant safety, child motor development, music and more.
